Here I am finally home from work. Yay! And now I am writing my newest blog about how thinking like Kyle got me through the day. So it has been busy these days because the kids are getting ready to go back to school. So I am always having to clean things up over and over again. It really gets me when I get my departments really nice and not a minute later someone comes along and trashes them. When I was on my 30 minute break I tweeted that I wished I had the patience and calmness that Kyle has. If he worked at my Target store, he wouldnt care if things got messed up. He would just continue on with his work. He would even smile. So I decided to approach things the way Kyle would. I didnt let it bother me when a customer messed up tables of shirts I had just spent time folding all nice. I just kept putting things away.
Okay so it didnt work the whole time, I still got a little stressed, and then I tried a new tactic. I made myself think good thoughts. I thought about how I have the weekend off and I could relax and even watch my favorite episodes of Kyle Xy if I wanted. Then I daydreamed as I worked about how awesome it would be to meet Matt Dallas. His handsome face in my head never fails to make me smile! PRESTO! Next thing you know the rest of the night flew by and before I knew it, I was driving home! I think I will try the Kyle approach more often. Maybe it will make me NOT want to smack the customers when they mess things up! :)
