It all started with Josh's Kyle File. I thought it was too funny when he would write something in it or refer to it in an episode. And then because, I was so hooked in to the show, I started my own Kyle File. Yes, you heard right I had a Kile File. I wanted to figure out the mystery of who Kyle really was before it was actually revealed so every time I watched an episode I grabbed my notebook and wrote down every clue that was given. (The theory I ended with was pretty close to what actually came to be.)
Then when Kyle XY was cancelled I was devastated because it was the only show that every inspired me right down to my heart and soul. And because I love to write I decided to write my own fan fiction and continue where the show left off. With a season four. Then through my stories the show would live on.
Now I almost never share my writing with anyone. The only one I ever have is my best friend. (He loves my stories.) I never share them with strangers. My writing is very personal to me and it is hard to let people see it. But then, acting on the suggestion of one of my twitter friends, I decided create a website to share my Kyle XY fan fiction with others for the first time. I was nervous, but I had fun making it, and I was excited that maybe I could inspire others the way the show has always inspired me and maybe they would feel the same joy reading my stories that I feel when I write them. Then I needed a name for my website. I thought back to when I had my own Kyle File and thought that would be a cool name. So Kelly's Kyle Files was born! The compliments I have gotten on it and my fan fiction mean so much to me and make it so worth it!
